I'm Jessica, sixteen years old. I love God, music, fitness, and sweet things. My goal here is to spread hope, faith, and love to the ones who need it the most. I will also share things that I like and find new and interesting!
"I believe love is intentional, radical and without boundary or limitation. I believe it comes like a rushing flood, like a consuming fire, like a soothing wind. I believe it penetrates the depths of your heart, mind, body, soul and spirit. I believe it envelopes you, engulfs you and enthrals you. I believe it grows, challenges, ignites and inspires you. I believe it is without hesitation, without fear, and without judgement. It is without doubt, without concern, and without segregation. I believe it is all inclusive, all empowering and all invoking. I believe it is as sure as your King, as strong as your Maker and as true as His existence. I believe it is designed for you to access, it is designed for you to experience, and it is designed for you to exude. You are a living, breathing love-letter, an expression of His almighty affection for you, and for His people. Your life should be an example of Christ’s love to a dying world."
"Wherever you are with The Lord today, I want to remind you of something. The Scriptures say He has unlimited patience. And yes, you read that right. No limits. Now, think about that for a minute and then refresh your feeling about The Lord. He has patience with you that will never run out. Breathe deep and enjoy His love for you."
iTunes was on shuffle and when this song came on, I’m dead serious, I listened to it in a different light. I always liked it but this one time, it hit… hard. I looked up the lyrics and replayed at least 3 more times. Wow. Almost in tears here. It’s like an ocean of emotion. So much truth, and “relatable-ness” (If thats even a word). Just amazed.
Thank you God for opening my eyes and ears to a song that encourages and helps me through so much when many, but you, don’t know about.
I came across this Trent Shelton from another Tumblr user and when he said “Stop asking if they love you, if tears are flooding your pillowcases every night”, I had to post. This video is SO true. Many people are blinded by the sight of the artificial and fluffy love until they are beaten physically or verbally. Nobody can know about your situation and that’s when you are swallowed whole by the wrong type of love. It hurts but then you realize thats not true love. You have the choice to change your path and situation. Just act…
On a scale from 1 to 10, how glad am I to come across this? about 1000. This is exactly what I need. I am just over the step and need to walk a little bit more to be done and free.
I also admire that Trent is a Christian. In some of his videos, he brings an encouraging word in and it’s so nice to hear that there are people out there that live to help others.
As a believer in Jesus, you have certain privileges because you belong to Christ. When you chose Him, God put a blood line around you that the enemy cannot cross. As long as you’re keeping Him first place, you have a hedge of protection, a hedge of favor, a hedge of mercy surrounding you like a shield. When difficulties come, God says that because you’re His child, because you honor Him, even though that problem has formed, in the end it is not going to prosper. When it’s all said and done, it’s not going to harm you. God is going to turn it around and use it to your advantage. That’s your heritage as a believer!
