Suppose you shatter a bottle of perfume. So what. Perfume may. E valuable, but it isn’t irreplaceable. Life is both. Our bodies are incredibly fragile and complex. They can share, break down, or simply wear out. God hasn’t given us the option of picking up a new one when things go wrong. At least until we get to heaven. In the meantime, we have to have a responsibility to care for this precious gift.
We all know we should eat a balanced diet, exercise and schedule and annual physical. However, it’s easy to let these habits slide when we’re feeling fine. We only take action when something goes wrong.
Have you ever considered that they way you care for your body reflects how grateful you are to God for His gift? Choosing a food healthy alternative could be one way of praising God. Exercise can be a time o worship. What will you do today to show your appreciation for the body God’s given you?
